Light in the Dark – English (6+) – Wednesday

Why are our days so much shorter in winter – and what happens when light meets darkness? 🌍✨

In Light in the Dark, we become winter researchers and explore the science and nature behind one of the darkest times of the year.

Through hands-on experiments, we’ll investigate light and shadow, discover how shadows change depending on the position of a light source and explore why our days become shorter as winter approaches.

We’ll connect our discoveries to the natural world and look at how plants, animals and people respond to the changing light of winter.

Then each child will design and create their own winter lantern to take home.

A hands-on Waldpädagogik workshop combining nature, science, experimentation and creativity.
