Did you know that the mushroom we see above the ground is only a small part of a much bigger organism hiding beneath our feet? 🍄🔬

In The Secret World of Fungi, we become forest researchers and investigate one of the most fascinating systems in the forest.

We’ll discover the difference between mushrooms, fungi and mycelium and explore the enormous network of tiny threads hidden beneath the forest floor. Through a hands-on activity, we'll discover how fungi interact with trees and why they play such an important role in a healthy forest.

We'll finish by getting creative and building our own miniature mushroom forest inspired by what we've discovered.
